About Right Angle Home Inspections

Right Angle Home Inspections, LLC is a highly trained, professional, home inspection and certified energy audit company.  We are licensed in the state of Wisconsin for home inspections and certified by the  Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist.  We are also RESNET rater certified to be able to safely perform home energy audits and/or evaluations in Milwaukee County and the surrounding areas.

Right Angle Home Inspections provides comprehensive and informative home inspections and energy audits by integrating the education and knowledge of three industries (home repair, home inspection and home energy audit).  Our home inspectors examine the individual systems of your home with the understanding that all the systems work together as a unified whole.  We have embraced the building diagnostic industry’s philosophy of the “whole house” approach: everything in the home is connected and if one part is changed, other parts may be affected.  With the “whole house” approach, we are able to provide detailed information and meet your home inspection and energy audit needs.

Who we are and our training:

Our lead inspector has over 25 years of experience in home repair and home maintenance.  She is also a former Marine Corps Sergeant who specialized in mechanics. She firmly believes in continuous learning;  If she see’s something that she is not familiar with, she will not ignore it but rather she’ll research it and find an answer. As within the Marine Corps, Right Angle Home Inspections operates with discipline, honesty and integrity.

Chris Rhodes carries Wisconsin Home Inspection license #2491-106.  Her training includes the following:

• Trained as a Home inspector from A Better School of Home Inspections.
• Performed 100 internship inspections under the guidance of two professional engineers.
• Certified as a Level 1 Thermographer, (training in infrared technology,) from the Infraspection Institute.
• Passed the National Radon Proficiency Program exam for Residential Radon Measurement Provider.
• Certified as a Building Analyst and Envelope Specialist by The Building Performance Institute.
• Certified RESNET HERS Rater through Performance Systems Development
• Received a B.S. from East Carolina University.
