Everyone is looking for a good deal, but sometimes that good deal might not be what you really want or need.  Take for instance a $250.00 home inspection for a 2000 square foot house.  That sounds like a GREAT deal.  Now consider this, a Home Inspector provides a lot of knowledge to their client and is running a business.  So the Inspector pays for (or should be) continuing education, state license, at least two types of insurance, reports, advertising, tools and much more.  To pay for all that the Inspector charging $250.oo for a 2000 square foot house is going to have to work  fast and try to book as many inspections a day as they can.  The probability of that Inspector missing things that could cost you money down the road is much greater.

You have to decide, do you want a quality inspection or be one in the quantity.
